Video playback and is great watching videos looks really nice on the display. The webcam is 1080p full HD and the device allows you to connect up to 3 external monitors.

Microsoft Copilot works quite well but the copilot key doesn’t seem to work for some reason and the other AI apps on the laptop can be a bit fiddly and don’t always work properly.
So if you are considering this laptop don’t buy it for the AI capabilties as you probably won’t be impressed. When it comes to the rest of the laptop it’s quite good. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition is surprising lightweight and it has a nice design as well.
It has a decent port selection including 2 USB C Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 USB A port, a combo port and a Micro SD card slot on the 15 inch model. However it is missing other ports that many users need such as Ethernet and HDMI.
The laptop also has WiFi, Bluetooth, a headphone jack and a great keyboard. All in all the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition has some great features but has room for improvement. If you are ok with it’s drawbacks then it will make a great daily laptop for you and your needs.
