The Google Pixel 8 Pro has a 6.7 inch 2992 x 1344 QHD+ LTPO OLED display that is very clear and beautiful to look at. It has 4G, 4GX and 5G connectivity making it a choice for anyone that wants 5G access on their phone. This is great because you won’t have to upgrade to another phone to get 5G connectivity.
The phone is very fast and responsive with amazing performance that makes it easy to get things done quickly. The Google Pixel 8 Pro is powered by a Google Tensor G3 chipset as well as 1 Cortex X3, 4 Cortex A715 and 4 Cortex A510 processors. Daily tasks are a breeze and you can get everything you need done with ease on the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Battery Life & Multimedia
The Google Pixel 8 Pro has great battery that will last all day on a single charge. You can expect around 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. If you watch a lot of videos or play a lot of games the battery will drain a bit faster but in most cases you will get a full day out of it before you need to charge the phone.

The cameras take amazing photos and the quality is breathtaking. The Google Pixel 8 Pro has the best cameras ever on an Android smartphone. The quality of the photos and videos can look even better than those taken with even more powerful smartphones.
There is also a powerful zoom on the cameras as well as AI powered photo editing such as Magic Editor and Auto Magic Eraser which are great features to have. You can’t go wrong with cameras on the Google Pixel 8 Pro and I’m very confident you will be impressed them.
Aside from the cameras you can do just about any other multimedia related tasks with ease such as watching videos, playing music, photo and video editing and much more. Multimedia tasks are easy and a great experience on the phone so it’s definitely something you won’t need to worry about.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro has 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB internal storage depending on which storage option you choose. The internal storage is not expandable because there is no Micro SD card slot on the phone.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro can connect to the internet via WiFi or mobile data. It works really well and web browsing is fast and easy. Downloading apps is quick and you can do just about any internet related tasks with ease on the phone. There not usually any issues when running internet related apps either meaning you can do what you need to do without any issues or interruptions.
As for connectivity there are quite a few connectivity features on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and a GPS. It also has a fingerprint sensor, gyro, compass, accelerometer, barometer and thermometer. The phone has a loudspeaker and supports Wired and wireless charging as well as super fast charging.
The only connectivity feature the Google Pixel 8 Pro lacks is a headphone jack which is big drawback for anyone that like using earphones with their phone. But other than that the phone has all other connectivity features you need and they can be used whenever you need them.
Apps & Gaming
The Google Pixel 8 pro will run many different apps and you can run just about any app you want without any issues. Apps run fine on the phone and don’t usually lag or crash unless there is a bug with the app or if the phone is outdated. All apps that use the internet to run also work fine and usually don’t have any problems running.
As for gaming the Google Pixel 8 Pro is great for gaming but it is not the best gaming phone out there. It runs most games fine without any problems and the graphics a great. But games do look better on other high end smartphones that have similar quality hardware to the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
But if you’re ok with not having the best gaming hardware on the market then the Google Pixel 8 Pro will suit your mobile gaming needs fine.
Google Pixel 8 Vs Google Pixel 8 Pro
So far we have focused only the Google Pixel 8 Pro but it is important to know a bit about the Google Pixel 8 as well because it is a really great phone to. The Google Pixel 8 was released at the same time as the Google Pixel 8 Pro and the main differences are the screen size, hardware, battery size and cameras.
The design of the two phones are pretty similar with the only notable difference being the sizes and different colors. They are also both water and dust resistant to the same degree which is a good thing. The Google Pixel 8 has a smaller screen at 6.2 inches and also has a less powerful rear camera.
It has a 50 megapixel main camera and only a 12 megapixel second camera. The front facing camera is the same as the Google Pixel 8 Pro and is just as great when it comes to quality. The Google Pixel 8 Pro also has a Pro mode with it’s cameras and extra settings to. In regards to the display the Google Pixel 8 Pro has the better display because it is brighter and sharper.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro has bigger battery but both phones do last a full day on a single charge with general use. But the Google Pixel 8 Pro has more battery left over at the end of the day and it also chargers faster.
Which One Should You Buy?
Overall the Google Pixel 8 Pro is the better phone out of the two because it is more powerful and has the better hardware and features.
That being said the Google Pixel 8 is still a great phone and is still worth buying for a lot of people. If you are not worried about the weaker cameras and battery and you don’t need the extra power then the Google Pixel 8 would be the better choice for you.
But if you need or want better cameras, a bigger battery and more power then the Google Pixel 8 Pro is definitely the way to go.
Is The Google Pixel 8 Pro For Me?
I recommend the Google Pixel 8 Pro to anyone who is looking for a powerful and reliable smartphone with amazing cameras and plenty of power to get things done.
