Battery Life & Multimedia
The battery life on the Samsung Galaxy S10 is quite good and can last 2 to 3 days on one charge if you don’t do a lot on it. But if you watch a lot of videos or play a lot of games it will drain the battery a lot fast which will result in you having to charge the phone at the end of the day.
But if you are not going to be doing any tasks like that you will get some great battery life. As for multimedia the Samsung Galaxy S10 has a lot of multimedia options and is a great media and entertainment device. It has an amazing triple rear camera and a great front facing camera and all of them are capable of taking full HD and 4K photos and videos.
The quality is amazing and more than enough for most people’s needs from a phone camera. Aside from using the cameras you can also watch videos, edit photos and videos and do just about any multimedia task you can think of. Internet & Connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy S10 covers all your needs when it comes to the internet. It can connect to the internet via WiFi or mobile data and it performs very well. Browsing the web is quick and easy and so is downloading and using internet related apps. You will be able to do anything internet related with ease on the phone.
As for connectivity there are many great connectivity features on the Samsung Galaxy S10. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, an FM radio on some models as well as a loudspeaker and a headphone jack. It also has a GPS, accelerometer, compass, gyro, barometer and a heart rate sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 uses USB Type C cables and has a OTG port as well. The phone also supports wired and wireless charging so pretty much have all your connectivity options available no matter what you want to do on the phone.
Apps & Gaming
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is great for running many apps and playing games. You can run almost any app with ease on the phone and most of them perform really work. If you do encounter problems running an app it could be a bug within the app or your app or phone could need updates.
But for most apps there are no issues meaning you can run most apps with ease on the phone. As for the gaming the Smasung Galaxy S10 excels with gaming as I mentioned earlier in this Samsung Galaxy S10 review. It’s large display and powerful graphics make it great for running many different games.
The phone can run most games easily with no issues and usually performs really well. The graphics look great, things run smoothly and most games look great on the device. Occasionally there can some slight lag with some games if they are being run at their highest settings or constantly for long periods of time.
But other than that the only drawback to using a lot of apps or playing a lot of games on the Samsung Galaxy S10 is that it drains the battery a lot faster. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is a got to device or apps, gaming and entertainment. Most problems you encounter while running apps or playing games on the phone are minor and can be fixed with a few tweaks or by letting the phone cool down and rest for a while.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Models
Samsung has released 5 different versions of the Samsung Galaxy S10 with each one differing mainly with screen size and battery size. Each model of the Samsung Galaxy S10 is good but it is important that you understand them before you buy so you can select the right one for your needs.
Samsung Galaxy S10
The Samsung Galaxy S10 was the first and main model of the Samsung Galaxy S10. It is the one we have be focusing on in this Samsung Galaxy S10 review. You can’t go wrong with this phone but any other model is a great choice to.
Samsung Galaxy S10+
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ was released at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy S10. The only difference between the two is that the Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a slight larger screen and battery as well as an additional front facing camera. But other than that it pretty much the same as the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Samsung Galaxy S10e
The Samsung Galaxy S10e is a compact and cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy S10. It has a 5.8 inch HD display but lacks 4K. It also has a smaller battery and the fingerprint scanner is one the power button instead if being on the side phone the phone. One other notable difference is that the Samsung Galaxy S10e has excludes one of the rear cameras meaning you have a dual camera instead of a triple camera.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a mid range variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10. It has a larger display and bigger battery than the Samsung Galaxy S10 as well as a better front facing camera. But the rear camera is not as good and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has less storage, no water resistance, no headphone jack and support for wireless charging.
For these reasons the Samsung Galaxy S10 is the better option unless you are alright with not having the removed features.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is a larger and more expensive version of the Samsung Galaxy S10. As it’s name suggests it has support for 5G and also has a larger screen and bigger battery. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G also has an additional 3D camera but the internal storage is not expandable like on the other models.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is a pretty good phone but if you don’t need 5G or the bigger screen it’s better to stick the with Samsung Galaxy S10 or the Samsung Galaxy S10+.
Is The Samsung Galaxy S10 For Me?
I recommend the Samsung Galaxy S10 to anyone looking for a great and reliable high end smartphone. It has all the features you need and it is sure to get you through your day with no worries.
I don’t recommend the Samsung Galaxy S10 to anyone that doesn’t want a high end smartphone or to anyone that doesn’t need all of the advanced features that the Samsung Galaxy S10 has.
